Supply for Apple's new iPhone was extremely low all across Canada - most stores were "sold out" at least two hours before the stores were officially opened. I went to the Rogers plus store in North Hill Centre in Calgary and was the first to arrive at 5am. I must admit I felt like a geek when people asked me what time I got there to be first, but in the end, being one of the lucky few in Canada to have an iPhone was worth it alone. Ending up with two rare 16GB white iPhones made it more than worth it!
